Crab pasta
Simple, quick, healthy and unbelievably good. This one works just as well as a starter as it does as a main. It might also be the shortcut to getting the whole family hooked on crab.
Ingredients
- g Pasta
- crab shells' worth of white crabmeat
- Chillies, medium heat
- Garlic cloves
- tbsp Capers
- tbsp Flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped
- Lime, juice only
- ml Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
Blitz the chilli, garlic, lime and 100ml of the oil in a blender to a smooth paste.
Tip this into a bowl and add the chopped capers, parsley, crabmeat and the rest of the oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Cook the pasta according to the pack instructions. Drain and stir through half the crab mixture.
Divide among plates and use the rest of the crab mixture as a topping. Garnish with a little chopped parsley.
