Crab roll
A street-food-inspired crab dish with fresh flavours and a bit of a kick.
Ingredients
- Brioche hot dog rolls (or other good-quality rolls)
- tbsp Melted butter
- crab shells' worth of crabmeat (a mix of white and brown)
- tbsp Mayonnaise
- Lemon, juice from half
- tsp Chilli sauce (adjust to taste)
- Spring onions, finely chopped
- Celery stick, chopped
- Salt
- Pepper
- Salad
- Dill
- Chives
Instructions
Brush the brioche rolls with butter.
Warm the rolls in the oven, or grill them, until they take on a little colour.
Mix the crabmeat, mayonnaise, lemon, spring onion and celery together. Season to taste with salt and pepper (and more chilli sauce, if you like).
Fill the warmed rolls with the crab mixture and top with the herbs.
Serve with crisps, cornichons and lemon wedges.
